Hi Dragons, While we can’t be on the ice, let’s continue to move our bodies and stay ready for our return to the ice! Heartland Dragons are offering 4 online workout sessions over the next few weeks. Workouts will include interval training using body weight movements, which will work on endurance and help build strength in those muscles we use on the ice. The Heartland Dragons Hockey Association is pleased to announce our “A” Skating and Shooting Clinics for the 2021/2022 season. These sessions are only available to “A” team players registered with the Heartland Dragons Hockey Association. Hello Dragon Coaches! Hydro One along with the Coaches Association of Ontario is offering grants to coaches of up to $2,000 to assist with getting back to sport. This grant aims to support Ontario coaches and participants with the tools they need to get back on the playing field, while keeping safety top of mind. Welcome Back! Attention Dragons We are looking forward to the start of the 2021-2022 hockey season and are excited to soon be seeing all of your smiling faces at the rink. In the past couple of weeks we have started to see some very positive direction and planning from the Province's reopening and Return to Play for indoor sports. On May 20th, 2021, the Ontario government revealed a three-step Provincial Reopening Plan.
