Congrats to the Heartland Dragons Minor Peewee "A" team for taking home the Silver Medal!  Thanks also go out to the parents and coaching staff!

Congrats to the Heartland Dragons Minor Bantam "A" team on completing their season by taking the Bronze Medal.  Thanks to the staff and parents for their dedication this year.

Heartland Dragons (HD071) PeeWee ‘A’ coached by Ricky Amaral take Silver in the MHL!  Great season and congrats to all the players and coaching staff!

Midget ‘A’ Silver medal winners, congratulations to our Midget JR ‘A’ team, coached by Tyler Pracek, who in a mixed division played exceptional hockey to win the silver medal.  Great Season!

Midget ‘A’ Gold medal winners, congratulations to our Midget SR ‘A’ team, coached by Les Tomaszewski, who won the Midget ‘A’ finals and on to the cities!!  Go Dragons GO!

After going 3-0-1 for first place in the Round Robin playing Ted Reeve, LPC #80, West London Hawks, and Heartland Dragons #80.  We advanced to the finals and played the Kitchener Jr Rangers to a 1-0 shootout win.  Nothing was solved after 3 periods, followed by 5 minutes of 4-4 OT with a 0-0 score.   Then winning in the first round of a three-person shootout.  Great hockey, and bonding time for the kids.  Way to go Dragons!!  Congratulations!

The Heartland Dragons Midget Jr 'A' made their annual bus trip to the USA and competed in the Nov 24-26 Congressional Cup Thanksgiving Classic in Washington DC.  The boys competed in the 18U A division.  The boys won the tournament with a 5-1 final against the Piedmont Predators from Virginia. The boys played strong all weekend winning all games and outscoring their competitors 28-2 on the way to winning the tournament. Congrats to the kids, coaches, staff and supporting families.

"The Bantam A Heartland Dragons were a team of Destiny this weekend. Everybody says that but, we’ve got proof. It all began with a Friday afternoon tour of the Bell Centre, the home of the glorious Montreal Canadiens. While up in the alumni lounge #19 Josh “Captain America” Young dropped himself into an empty seat.  The tour guide Zee says "since Jean Beliveau died, nobody sits right there, eh.” Captain America stared at Zee.  Zee stared at Captain America, knowing he wasn’t going to win this one.  2 hours later, to kick off the prestigious Jean Beliveau Bantam Championship in Montreal, the Ted Reeve Thundernadoes knew [...]

The Sr Dragons traveled to Pittsburgh this past weekend to participate in the Three Rivers Cup Tournament.  They were undefeated in 5 games, outscoring their opponents 33-3, including 3 shutouts, on their way to winning the tournament in a dominant fashion,  Congratulations to a great bunch of boys!

  Midget Jr 'A' won the Hillcrest Tournament this weekend with a 4-1 final against Lorne Park. The boys dropped the first game of the tourney 1-0, but after that they won 5 straight games,  outscoring their competitors 21-3 on the way to winning the tournament. Congrats to the kids, coaches, staff and supporting parents!
