Silver Medal for M. Bantam ‘A’ Dragons at West Mall Early Bird Tournament!

The Heartland Dragons Minor Bantam A #81 put their best foot forward for the West Mall Early Bird Tourney this past weekend.  A tough 2-0 loss to a fantastic Wolverine team brought them a well-deserved silver medal!  The coaches and parents congratulate the boys and girls on #81 for their perseverance, tenacity, and sportsmanship…looking forward to a great season!

The Bantam A Phantom Wolves finished off a special season by winning the CITY Championships!!! They beat the solid GTHL Champions, Toronto Avalanche, 2 games to 1 winning the final game 5-1 The Wolves started their season by playing in 2 early bird tournaments on back to back weekends, winning the first one and placing second in the other. Then they went on to win a tournament in Montreal and also the Wolverine tournament in November! The Mississauga Hockey League’s newest community Association officially launched April 1, 2017. The Heartland Dragons Hockey Association will provide minor hockey development and competition for boys and girls 4 to 20 years of age. The Association will be based out of Mississauga’s Hershey Centre and Valley Community Centre and will begin accepting player registrations for all ages and all levels of House League play beginning May 2017.
