Bantam Red Dragons Team 092 win “Best of the Best” Halton Winter Classic

The Heartland Dragons Bantam Red 092 team won the 'Best of the Best' Halton Winter Classic tournament that took place from December 7-9 in Halton Hills. After opening the tournament with a loss, Dragons 092 came back strong with dominating performances to win their next 2 games by a combined score of 12-1. We went to play the host team in the semis and beat them 4-0 and won a very exciting final with every player contributing to a 4-1 over the undefeated Waterloo Wolves.

Midget Jr. A team CHAMPIONS of Fort Erie Fall Classic!

Our Midget Jr. A team traveled to Fort Erie Oct. 26-28 and came home with the championship trophy. Going undefeated over the weekend, the team won the Gold Medal game against the Coronation Bengals in a shoot-out after coming back from a 2-0 deficit. Midget RED Dragon Squad take Bradford Championship in OVERTIME!

The Heartland Dragons HD112 Midget Red squad competed in the Bradford Blue & Gold Tournament over the Nov 2-4 weekend. After dropping the first game 2-1, the boys bounced back with 3 straight convincing shutout wins that sent them to the final.  The Heartland boys played a solid Championship game winning the final in the 3rd overtime. The boys played strong all weekend outscoring their competitors 19-5 on the way to winning the tournament. Congrats to the boys, coaches and supporting families.
