Important – Registration Update Information for 2021-2022 Season

Hockey Canada has developed and have been implementing a new “Hockey Canada Registration” (HCR) System for the upcoming season.

The GTHL had originally planned a launch for all house league registration on June 7.  A decision was recently made to extend that launch date to mid July to ensure we were able to assist registrars with training and trouble shooting.

Unfortunately over the past few days it has become apparent that there remains some serious technical issues that need to be resolved.

Not resolving these before launching the new HCR system will cause confusion and frustration for parents and an increase in workload for registrars at each organization.  This is not the desirable return experience we want anyone to have.

We have made the decision to delay the registration launch date for all house league players, whether or not the organization is using the HCR as their primary registration system, until mid July 2021.

Heartland Dragons will continue to monitor the progress that the Hockey Canada staff make in resolving these critical issues and will provide updates pending their decision mid July as to an actual date to proceed with the official launch date.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and want to thank all those who have been working hard to make the launch of the new HCR 3.0 successful. We will continue to provide updates as we mover forward to a successful launch

Thank you
