Without the thousands of coaches who volunteer their time and step behind the bench every season, there would be no hockey in Canada. So just how can you become a coach? How can you become certified?  Right here with the Heartland Dragons Hockey Association October 6th 2019

Coaches are essential to hockey and especially important to minor hockey.  A caring, enthusiastic, well-trained coach has the ability to be a positive influence on players, parents and other coaches.

 

Hockey Canada has worked with Heartland Dragons Hockey Association to provide effective education, certification and registration for hockey coaches:

October 6th, 2019 – 9:00am-1:30pm 

Coach Level 1 for Novice and below – In-class (prerequisite is Hockey U online)

Please note: If you do not have a Hockey Canada profile created, the registration process is a 3 step one…. type your email and password…. add a member by searching for YOURSELF, if the system does not find YOU please create a new member profile. Do NOT add your player as the participant as there is only 1 participant per account. Once you have created your own Hockey Canada profile and added yourself to the account you will be able to register.

If someone is not registered in the in-class course they will not be allowed to take part in the in-class as the prerequisite to the in-class is the online portion.
