Hello Dragon Nation,
Once again the Annual General Meeting (AGM) is almost upon us and first off we would
like to express our thanks and gratitude to all of our volunteers, players, parents, and
coaches that continue to provide the Dragon hockey brand.
The date of the 2024/2025 AGM is on May 27th , 2025 at 7pm and it will be in-person at the Frank McKechnie Community Centre.

As we prepare for the 2025 – 2026 season, we need to plan for the future of the
Heartland Dragons Hockey Association. We are all volunteers and we need more help
to continue to build and make this organization even stronger. The organization is only as
strong as the members that support it.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our Board as more hands on deck
allows us to provide a better hockey product for everyone. We are looking for all types
of skill sets, however, in particular, we are seeking people with skills or an interest in
helping out with fundraising, sponsorships, social media content, webmaster management, marketing, student volunteer scheduling, convening, tournament management, equipment management, apparel management, or registration. No hockey experience is needed – just a strong desire to help where needed and to collaborate on ideas to continue to improve the programs we offer and reduce the cost of hockey.
