Skating Clinics

Heartland Dragons Minor Hockey is very excited to announce that our power skating program for “A” team players will be delivered by Kyla Scoville.  Kyla brings a wealth of experience to this new program.  Kyla’s experience is extensive: running the city Skating Program, training sessions for OHL players and working with AA and AAA clubs on both skating and skills development.   Kyla has 25 years of on ice experience in figure skating, power skating, and hockey skills development in partnership with minor hockey associations.

Shooting Clinics

The shooting clinics will be run on 1/3 ice and conducted by Tim Turk Hockey.  We are extremely lucky and pleased to have Tim Turk deliver our shooting program. Tim has been an NHL Shooting and Scoring coach for over 25 years, having worked with four NHL organizations (Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, and Arizona Coyotes) as well as many National Programs overseas.  Tim continues to work with NHL players, Junior Hockey clubs and several Minor Hockey teams, coaches and players of all ages and levels.

Reminder: You will be required to complete the TeamSnap Health Check to participate in these events. Please ensure to do this prior to arrival to avoid any delays. We will not have devices on site to assist in this process nor will there be any paper forms to available to complete. You will be required to show your players Green Health Check Pass to participate no exceptions.  We appreciate your co-operation.
