Heartland Dragons
The Heartland Dragons Hockey Association is again excited to be hosting, The Bauer First Shift Program in partnership with the Toronto Maple Leafs, to introduce hockey to those that are new to the sport. The NHL/NHLPA First Shift kicks off with a Welcome Event which is our opportunity to welcome you into our hockey community. We will introduce kids and parents to the local program administrators, and coaches, provide an overview of the 6 week program, and offer important information about proper fit and maintenance of equipment, as well as a demonstration on “how to get dressed”. After the 15 minute information session, each child is individually fitted for the equipment he/she will collect and take home- ready to start the first session!
First Shift Parent Meeting:
Date: Wednesday, September 29th, 7 pm.

First Shift Welcome Event :
Date: Saturday October 2nd, starting at noon.
Venue/Location : Tomken Arena
A Welcome Event schedule has been released for the first 15 players (alphabetically) to begin at noon and the next 15 players to arrive at 1 pm. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
